HUD will save the Maple Street Apartments, or build them back brand new at the taxpayers' expense.

HUD is not about to let Jackson's drug dealers live in these conditions. The drug dealers in Jackson are humans too.

Maybe if I had some new HUD apartments down the street I could find a drug dealer that I could order a laptop from -- if he didn't have one in stock.

These damn crackheads buying from the drug dealer next to me ain't bringing in nothing to sell.

I just thought of something. Maybe I should go over to WEE LAND SUPERMARKET on Medgar Evers Avenue to see if he has anything to sell. I hate like hell having to think about buying from an Indian, but you have to go to where the deals are.

I could put a sign outside near the street, describing the type of laptop I wanted to buy, but it would be my luck to have some cluck bring me a brand new truck.

Johnny: 911, give me U.S. Attorney Dunn Lampton. I want to report a -----FEDERAL-----CRIME.

FEUD OVER $10 ENDS IN SLAYING

A man fatally shot another man Wednesday in an argument over $10 before hiding in his apartment with an 8-month-old girl in west Jackson, police said.

About an hour after the shooting, Alex Triggs, 23, surrendered to police at his apartment and was charged with murder. The unidentified baby was unharmed.

Gerald Nunn, 24, was shot four times in his upper body, Hinds County Coroner Sharon Grisham-Stewart said.

Police received a call regarding a disturbance at Valley Apartments, 1576 W. Capitol Ave., at 7 p.m., said Lt. Robert Whiteside. The two men apparently had argued over money outside the complex, but Triggs went into his (FEDERALLY SUBSIDIZED HUD) apartment and returned with a revolver, he said.

Triggs shot Nunn, then returned to his apartment, Whiteside said. Police were unsure if the victim lived in the complex.

Hostage negotiators and the Jackson Police Department's SWAT team were called to assist after Triggs refused to come out of the apartment.

Mayor Frank Melton, who arrived on the scene shortly after police, walked to Triggs' apartment building with police about 8 p.m. and returned shortly with the baby. Melton gave the baby to her mother, police said.

"They discovered the baby when they got in there," Whiteside said. "When (Triggs) observed them out there, he gave up. They didn't even have to go in."

Resident Ann Johnson said she was on the porch with her kids when she heard gunshots. "I told (my kids) to run," she said. "I was scared."

The shooting marks the city's 21st homicide this year. There were 52 homicides last year.

    ****************************************************************

If there was ever a RIGHT TIME for USA Dunn Lampton to use the power of his office to help the City of Jackson clean up the mess we have with criminal activity in this city, the time is now.

The criminal activity we have in Jackson is primarily the result of HUD and its agents failing to properly manage the SUBSIDIZED HOUSING PROGRAMS.

HUD and its agents have allowed killers, drug dealers, thieves and thugs to take control of subsidized housing units across the City of Jackson. It was not that long ago that the MBN ran a drug raid on the Valley Apartments to clean out the some of drug dealers living in these apartments.

In this killing you have what I believe is a felony offense under Federal Law, that being a gun in Federally subsidized apartment.

You also have the legal tenant allowing a person with a gun to live in what is likely her Federally subsidized apartment.

It time for the Federal Government to clean up the mess that the Federal government has brought to the City of Jackson, and that's where you come in, USA Lampton.

You are the only legal authority in this state with the legal power to take a hard look at this issue of crime and federally subsidized housing.

You time in office is short, and if you are going to do anything, you need to do it now.

If you pass up this case, we can write you off as a waste of taxpayers' money.

I went over to Clique News to see what you were talking about, and came back with something you might find just as strange.

Among the "JFR-Interviews," do you find it strange that an interview with former governor William Winter is not included? I did.

Of all the interviews with governors they could have asked for, and may have but were refused, you only find Ronnie Musgrove, when it is William Winter that has been anointed by their crowd, and a few butt-kissing Republicans, as the Education Governor For Life.

And this was the governor that was appointed to that national Racial Reconciliation Board.

If makes you wonder if William Winter and others have refused to give an interview to Clique News.

I'm going back to Ebay. I better understand my people. I'll let others figure out Clique News. That's above my I.Q.

..and I even heard that they are stonewalling the city's progress to meet their end of the $$$ deal. the HUD PIMPS want in on the King Edward project and I am shocked at this!!!

Posted by: political pimp at August 9, 2005 01:54 PM

I say that we put those HUD tenants in the Federal Building. This way they won't have to catch a bus to come downtown to file a discrimination complaint, they can just use the elevator to the HUD Office.

And if the FBI hears of another killing in federally subsidized housing, by a man that had a gun that wasn't supposed to be living there in the first place, the FBI and HUD can just take the elevator to the HUD subsidized apartment, on one of the first eight floors, where the HUD apartment is located.
